Stockman collecting signatures and "running to win"

CQ reports that Steve Stockman is collecting signatures for the race and is "running to win," although those are CQ's words and not Stockman's.

There's not really too much new here, although from the tone of the piece it doesn't sound as if Stockman is sticking to his original plan of running solely to play anti-Lampson attack dog.

If Stockman gets on the ballot -- and I think it's too early to say for certain whether he will -- that would certainly be a good thing for Lampson.

I'm pretty behind on blogging, but as I said previously, I think Stockman's ballot status is the most interesting story in this race over the next month or so.
